Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Implement safety instrumented systems (SIS), SCADA, DCS, and Turbo Machinery control systems.
  • Perform process control for hydrocarbon, gas plants, refineries, petrochemical plants, pipelines, and distribution facilities.
  • Conduct engineering studies to optimize solutions, increase revenue, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
  • Participate in process safety reviews such as HAZOP, SIL analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Perform cost analyses and value engineering to recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Evaluate vendors and contractors, acting as a company representative in technical dealings.
  • Develop and maintain engineering standards, specifications, procedures, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies to achieve best-in-class performance.
  • Conduct seminars and technical exchange meetings on new technologies and practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering; Master's or PhD preferred.
  • Minimum 20 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience with automation technologies, DCS, SIS systems, and major automation projects.
  • Previous work with major oil & gas companies or automation suppliers.
  • Participation in HAZOP and SIL studies.
  • Experience in control schemes like boiler, motor, burner management, and compressor control.
  • Knowledge of process automation networks and communication protocols.
  • Experience with turbine and compressor control applications.
