Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking an Automation Support Technician to help operate and maintain process control systems across its aseptic production facilities. You will assist in uptime and availability, supporting diagnostics and routine maintenance while aligning with CGMPs and safety requirements.

The role requires an associate degree in electronics or related fields, with preference for PLC/SCADA knowledge and experience with DeltaV/iFix.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Computers, Engineering or related field required.
• High School Diploma with four years of relevant understanding of instrumentation & control systems required.
• Knowledgeable in supporting & maintaining process control systems preferred.
• Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred.
• Knowledgeable in PLCs, HMI, PCS/DCS, SCADA systems, MES and SQL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support troubleshooting during process downtime.
• Inspect, troubleshoot & repair control system hardware.
• Perform routine, preventative & predictive maintenance.
• Assist in the development of maintenance procedures.
• Support control system equipment installations.
• Assist in managing control system hardware inventory.
• Support plans to maintain & improve process control systems.
• Adhere to quality and safety standards.
