Novo Nordisk is seeking a skilled technician to assist in operation, maintenance and system management of process control systems at our Clayton, NC site. The role focuses on uptime, reliability, and alignment with cGMP practices to support injectable diabetes treatments.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Computers, Engineering or a relevant field required.
• High School Diploma (GED) with four years of instrumentation & control systems experience considered.
• Experience supporting and maintaining process control systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMI, PCS/DCS and SCADA systems is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot automation hardware and software at an entry level.

Responsibilities

• Support troubleshooting during process downtime.
• Inspect, troubleshoot & repair control system hardware.
• Perform routine, preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Assist in developing maintenance procedures and training material.
• Support control system equipment installations and inventory management.
• Help maintain and improve process control systems to meet business needs.
• Follow cgmp procedures and safety requirements.
