Qualifications

Overview

Hands-on Process & Automation Technician opportunity with a well-established ISO-certified injection molding manufacturer in Maple Grove, MN.

This is a full-time, hourly role focused on supporting the Process Engineer by designing, building, and improving automation and auxiliary equipment for new and existing products. The role is highly hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with machines, robotics, and tooling on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Injection molding processes and equipment


• Designing and building End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) using SolidWorks


• Programming and supporting robots (Fanuc, Denso, Universal, Wittmann)


• Working with PLCs (Mitsubishi, Omron)


• Exposure to vision systems (Cognex, Eye+, Avalon)


• Fabrication using shop tools (Bridgeport, saws, drill presses; CNC a plus)


• Training production teams on new equipment and processes
