REO Plastics, Inc. is a progressive ISO certified custom injection molding company that has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process & Automation Technician.

Position Summary:

The Process & Automation Technician will be assisting the Process Engineer in designing, building and improving auxiliary equipment to maximize productivity on new and existing products.

Key Tasks:

• Help build and automate machinery.
• Research potential benefits of automation and improvements to justify costs.
• Train personnel in the use and benefits of new equipment.
• Collaborate with others in the evaluation of production equipment needs and make recommendations for the selection of new equipment.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists.
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing concepts
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding methods, processes, and procedures is preferred
• Have the ability to solve problems and make decisions independently as required.
• Attention to Detail
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
• Must be able to sit, stand, and move throughout the plant for extended periods.
