Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Process Automation Software Engineer to design and deliver modern industrial applications across OT and IT layers, enabling Connected Enterprise and IIoT solutions. You will develop with Logix Designer, FactoryTalk Optix, and edge-to-cloud integrations.

You will build APIs and microservices, leverage time-series databases and visualization tools, and drive architectures from control data to cloud, applying OPC UA standards and data modeling with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Experience with industrial automation systems and OT/IT integration is preferred.
• Ability to design architectures from control to cloud and translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Logix Designer and FactoryTalk Optix.
• Build edge-to-cloud integrations with DataMosaix, Plex, and Fiix.
• Develop APIs, microservices, and modern web applications.
• Leverage time-series databases and data visualization tools.

• Align control data models with enterprise and cloud solutions.
• Apply cloud-native and event-driven architectures.
