Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Morenci, AZ is seeking a Process Automation Engineer II to lead direction on Process Automation engineering topics and drive improvements in site performance.

You will maintain ICSe hardware/software, support cybersecurity, and optimize operator effectiveness across the process control network. The role requires collaboration with operations, development of project proposals, and lifecycle management of instrumentation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline and three (3) years related experience in engineering relevant to Process Automation
• OR Master’s degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline and two (2) years related experience in engineering relevant to Process Automation

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with others to direct and improve performance of site Industrial Control Systems
• Promote safety and environmental programs and practices
• Support ICSe cybersecurity practices and policies and review advanced instrumentation solutions
