Job summary

SquareDev is seeking a Process Automation Developer to design and maintain enterprise-scale automation projects in the banking sector. You will build process/case-driven apps using IBM BAW, and develop integration flows with IBM ACE, while connecting with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP and MQ.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience with IBM ACE/BAW, familiarity with AIX deployments, Java/ESQL/XML, and strong English communication skills. Degree in CS/IS and IBM certifications are a plus.

Role overview

We are looking for a Process Automation Developer to design and maintain business process automation and integration solutions, using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), on enterprise‑scale business process automation projects in the banking sector.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing process/case‑driven applications in IBM BAW (BPDs, Coaches, Human Services, Server Scripts).
• Developing integration flows and services in IBM ACE (message flows, ESQL, adapters).
• Integrating with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP web services and messaging (MQ).
• Collaborating with business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing existing workflows/integrations.
• Documenting technical solutions and supporting production issues.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• 2‑5 years of experience with IBM ACE (or IBM Integration Bus / IBM BPM).
• Experience deploying/administering IBM ACE on AIX (Unix‑based systems). Familiarity with Azure cloud environments is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Java, ESQL and XML.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and messaging systems (MQ).
• Understanding of BPM principles and system integration.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong English communication skills, able to work with both business and technical teams.
• Relevant IBM certification (BAW/ACE) is a plus.
