Description

This position requires in-role training at an operating site which will be 5+ weeks in duration. The training will be located 50+ miles from the home site location, and all travel accommodations will be booked and paid for by Amazon.

Amazon Process Assistant (Full-time)

Rural Super Rural (RSR) is dedicated to ensuring our customers in remote areas receive their deliveries and are satisfied with our service. We innovate the last mile delivery process while bringing smiles to our customers.

Process Assistants are part of Amazon’s Last Mile operations in RSR, managing daily department duties such as labor allocation, leading meetings, assigning duties, providing work direction, and communicating with suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Track and report ATS/labor hours.
  • Assist with production duties, train associates, verify SOP compliance.
  • Ensure performance through metrics tracking and reporting.
  • Assess associate work performance and provide feedback.
  • Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Maintain understanding of workflow and goals.
  • Update SOPs as needed.
  • Keep work areas clean and equipped.
  • Identify and address safety hazards, participate in safety initiatives.
  • Coach on safe work practices.
  • Report job injuries timely.
  • Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 12 hours, and perform physical tasks.
  • Work 40 hours/week plus overtime as required.
  • Minimum age of 18.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or prior Amazon experience.
  • Willingness to use OPEX tools and techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Ability to provide direction using judgment.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
