Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Process Assistant in Kelso, WA to support our fulfillment center operations. The role includes pick/pack duties, receiving and storing product, inventory checks and loading/unloading trucks. You will also communicate instructions to teammates, motivate staff, and maintain a safe work area.

Starting pay is $25.00 per hour, with potential shift differentials and overtime. Eligible for health benefits from day 1, 401(k) with company match, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience (Preferred)

OWA8 Launch

This position qualifies for a $10,000 internal launch bonus.

Eligibility Requirements: Candidates are ineligible to receive more than one Launch Bonus within a calendar year. In addition, any candidate whose current site is 50 miles or less from the new launch site will not receive a launch bonus. Bonus payments are payable in accordance with the Company's standard payroll practice and subject to applicable withholding taxes.

The Amazon operations team is looking for Process Assistants with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers. Process Assistants roles include production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks. Lead Process Assistants will also be responsible for communicating instructions to other associates, motivating them, and keeping their work areas safe.

Things to know about working in an Amazon Fulfillment Center

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors include shift selection and location.
