Responsibilities

As a Process Architecture Professional on our team, you’ll be involved in a wide range of activities—from early feasibility studies to production of detail design documents, to rapid technical assistance during construction.

You will work directly with clients, supporting Jacobs Architecture Subject Matter Experts in developing feasibility studies, concept designs, and masterplans. Your tasks include preparing 3‑D visualization images to facilitate client decision‑making, creating construction documentation, and coordinating with in‑house engineering disciplines.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher‑level degree from an accredited Architecture school.
  • Minimum of 5 years of applicable professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Experience with the implementation of the project process, including programming, conceptual design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks in support of multiple ongoing projects running concurrently.
  • Ability to coordinate within a multi‑disciplinary team structure—including engaging virtually with team members in different geographic locations.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
  • Technical knowledge related to the development of construction documents in Revit.
  • Proficiency in Sketch‑Up.
  • Strong graphic presentation skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) applications.
  • Proficiency in Navisworks and Revizto.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Experience performing construction administration activities—including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, preparing field observation reports, and punch‑listing.
  • United States citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Life Sciences projects, particularly pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards and cGMP requirements.
  • Familiarity with LEED and/or sustainable strategies.
  • Involvement in professional and/or community associations.
  • Business development and marketing experience.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of new ideas, techniques, and standards.

The base salary range for this position is $110,600.00 to $185,000.00, determined by location, skills, experience, and education.
