Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Application Specialist with expertise in Die Cast to join our team. As a Process Application Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing and improving the die cast processes in our organization and at customer locations when needed. Your role will involve analyzing and troubleshooting specific manufacturing processes, designing and implementing process improvements, overseeing large scale projects, and ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the die cast production line.

This is a remote position with travel to include customer sites and company offices/laboratories for required meetings. Ideally, this candidate would reside in Eastern or Central Time Zone.

What will you do:

  • Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of current die cast processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement strategies.
  • Work directly with customers to optimize diecast process, tooling, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot process-related issues and provide technical support to production teams and customers as needed.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure consistent product performance.
  • Conduct regular process audits and provide recommendations for enhancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in Die Cast.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source appropriate materials for die cast processes.
  • Train and educate production teams and customers on new processes, equipment, and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, improvements, and results.

What do we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5yr of industry experience in area of focus: Die Cast
  • Proven experience working with die cast processes, die cast tooling, and all ancillary equipment used in the die cast process.
  • In-depth knowledge of die cast principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve process-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with customers cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Cad Design is a plus.
  • Customer Focus – Dedicated to meeting customer expectations and requirements.
  • Proficient in English - written & spoken.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with ability to generate reports as needed.
