Job summary

Franklin Surgery Center is seeking a Procedure Room Nurse to plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care for endoscopy patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will communicate with the care team and help maintain equipment, supplies, and the unit's cleanliness.

Responsibilities may include providing patient care in other peri-operative departments, serving on committees, and participating in quality improvement projects as designated by the manager.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• BCLS/ACLS certification required.
• GI procedures experience preferred.

Procedure Room Nurse at Franklin Surgery Center

Responsible to plan, execute, and evaluate the nursing care given to patients in the Endoscopy nursing role. Provides patient care within the prevailing state standards of practice and according to the policies of the facility. Communicates appropriate information to other team members. Helps maintain equipment, supplies, and general cleanliness of the unit. May have additional responsibilities designated by the manager, which may include but are not limited to providing patient care in other peri-operative departments, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse
• BCLS/ACLS
• Experience in GI procedures preferred
