Description

Under the general supervision of the Clinic Manager/Supervisor, this position is responsible for scheduling surgical procedures. Key responsibilities include preparing clinical data for submission of request for prior authorization, maintaining appropriate logs, and documentation of authorizations status.

Required Qualifications:
  • H.S. Diploma or GED, or equivalent educ/experience
  • 1 year of experience with medical terminology, coding, and medical charting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical Assistant, Billing, or Front Office Management certification from an accredited vocational school.
  • Experience in referral authorizations and Surgical Scheduling.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range

$25.00 - $35.77
