Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a Procedural Scheduler for the Imaging Administration in Anchorage, AK. This full-time, 1.0 FTE role requires coordinating daily surgical/procedural case progress and scheduling with multiple teams to ensure accurate resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Requires proficiency in three areas of responsibility and at least 1 year of Providence Operating Room experience with proficiency in two areas of function listed in Essential Functions Daily Operations.
• Computers skills using a variety of software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication of daily surgical/procedural case progress to the Charge RN, staff, surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Schedule perioperative services surgical/procedural scheduling by obtaining data and coordinating with inter-/intra-departmental staff.
• Communicate surgical schedules to professional offices and resolve routine scheduling conflicts or escalate as appropriate.
• Enter patient charges for billing purposes and document surgical journal/records information for BI reporting.
