Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks an RN Supervisor for Procedural Nursing in the Waxahachie ASC. The role oversees 14 staff across two ORs, with 40 hours/week, day shifts, no on-call requirement, and occasional GI Lab support at the main hospital.

The Supervisor ensures safe patient care, coordinates with the Nursing Manager, and drives staffing, budgeting, and education initiatives within the procedural department.

Qualifications

• RN with supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in procedural or ambulatory surgery settings is desirable.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned nursing and unit staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Oversee day-to-day department operations, staffing, and productivity.
• Assist Nursing Manager with policy implementation, budgeting, and governance activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and administrative teams to optimize patient flow and outcomes.
• Maintain nursing competency and provide guidance on standards of practice.
