Job summary

OrthoVirginia Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to support Interventional Pain Management and Podiatry Procedure Services.

You will lead the procedural continuum from pre-procedure to recovery, coordinating with physicians and clinical staff to ensure safety, quality, and patient-centered care. You will assess patients, monitor during procedures, administer medications, and educate families while maintaining infection prevention standards and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead procedural nursing across pain management and podiatry services.
• Perform patient assessments and prepare patients for interventional procedures.
• Provide continuous patient monitoring during procedures and recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and standards of practice.
• Support procedural sedation and recovery within nursing scope.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, plans, and follow-up care.
• Serve as a patient advocate ensuring safety and compassionate care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support regulatory compliance.
