Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of Diagnostic Imaging procedures for patients of all ages. You will work under a Radiologist or Manager to deliver high-quality images for clinical decisions.

The role emphasizes ALARA principles, patient-centered care, and strict adherence to safety and aseptic procedures. ARRT radiography certification and BLS are required on hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography certification required upon hire.
• BLS certification required (Instructor or BLS acceptable).
• Demonstrated ability to operate diagnostic imaging equipment and communicate with patients.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams across age groups following ALARA principles.
• Evaluates image quality and performs post-processing of imaging data.
• Ensures proper patient identification and safety during procedures.
