Job summary

Better Being in Ogden, Utah, is seeking a Formulation Scientist – Stability Specialist to manage stability testing for probiotic products and support shelf-life claims. You will collaborate with Research & Development, Quality, and Project Management to develop stability protocols, analyze results, and recommend formulation improvements.

A chemistry-related bachelor’s and 2–5 years in stability or dietary supplements are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, food science or biology.
• 2–5 years in product stability, formulation, or dietary supplements.
• Ability to review data, literature, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage accelerated stability testing for new products and reformulations.
• Conduct real-time stability testing for probiotic products and evaluate shelf-life claims.
• Develop, maintain, and track stability protocols, schedules, records, and results.
• Review and analyze stability data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare stability reports and provide data-based recommendations on shelf life.
