The Adams County Probation Department in Illinois is hiring a Probation Officer to interview clients, prepare Presentence Investigations, and supervise a caseload under a supervisor.

This full-time role requires a bachelor's degree, residency near Adams County, ability to pass background and drug tests, and proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel. Duties include court appearances and maintaining case records to support public safety.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Illinois residency within 90 days or living within 40 miles of Adams County Courthouse.
• Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Interview clients, prepare Presentence Investigations (PSI) and oversee a caseload.
• Serve as Officer of the Day and coordinate with court processes.
• Maintain case notes and attend court hearings as required.
• Collect urine and saliva specimens for drug/DNA testing when applicable.
