The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill one full-time Deputy Probation Officer I/II in the Probation department. The eligible list from this recruitment will also be used to fill future vacancies in this class.

The Deputy Probation Officer I is the entry-level classification with powers of arrest; the II is the journey level with more independence. The salary ranges are $77,334.40-$94,016 for I and $86,278.40-$104,873.60 for II, with annual compensation and POST training requirements for

Qualifications

• Education: Four-year college degree or equivalent unit coursework with a related major.
• Experience: May be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis up to two years.
• Typing: 45 words per minute within six months of hire.
