The Ministry of Justice's Probation Service is seeking a Probation Service Officer to assess housing and rehabilitation needs for people on probation. The role involves timely accommodation assessments, planning and maintaining case records to support risk management and positive outcomes.

You will work across Norfolk Community locations, HMP Wayland and HMP Norwich, with potential to attend HMP Bure as required.

Qualifications

• Empathy, patience and organisational skills required.
• Experience in housing and rehabilitation planning is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Engage participants and referral agencies to facilitate access to housing.
• Maintain regular, professional contact with participants and identify risks or safeguarding concerns.
• Record progress, outcomes and risks using approved case management systems.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, attending meetings as required.
• Promote participant involvement, rights, equality, diversity and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Comply with probation, safeguarding, GDPR, information security, health and safety and organisational policies.
