The role serves as the primary liaison for citizens, attorneys and agencies regarding case management, notices, fees and hearings.
Qualifikationen
- High school graduation or equivalent; advanced computer terminology training recommended.
- Two years of legal setting experience with word processing.
- Ability to obtain Certified Electronic Operator status within six months.
Aufgaben
- Receives and files probate records; reviews documents for accuracy and enters case information.
- Maintains the court docket by coordinating schedules and notices with agencies and parties.
- Operates remote hearing resources and Polycom equipment; ensures proper participation in hearings.
- Prepares orders and notices for estate, guardianship and other probate matters.
- Receipts money from filing fees and logs payments per SCAO procedures.
- Begins and maintains closed files as required and supports other courts as needed.
- Acts as CEO and records activity during court recordings for indexing and transcripts.
