Job summary

BHS Corrugated North America is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for its Tracy, CA site to keep production running smoothly through proactive maintenance and quick repairs.

You will perform scheduled PMs, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, read schematics, and coordinate with operations. The role includes an on-call rotation and offers up to $44/hr plus overtime and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics (PLC experience is a plus).
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment preferred.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (inspections, lubrication, cleaning, calibration).
• Identify potential equipment issues and correct them before failure.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems as needed.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and improving equipment reliability.
• Document maintenance work and follow established PM schedules.
• Work closely with operations to coordinate maintenance with production needs.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours support.
