Qualifications

• Must identify mechanical and maintenance issues on industrial equipment.
• Must safely perform maintenance and repairs on elevated feed mill equipment.
• Must be comfortable working at heights with fall-protection equipment.
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical endurance are required.
• Must be physically able to lift and carry substantial weight.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance based on manufacturer's recommendations.
• Proactively troubleshoot equipment issues to prevent production interruptions.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on mill equipment, including conveyors, bucket elevators, motors, platforms, and systems.
• Assist with ingredient picking and small-packaging operations; operate bulk receiving pits and assist with loading outbound feed.
• Safely operate forklifts to move materials and assist with monthly inventory counts.
• Adapt quickly to changing daily needs and execute additional tasks as requested by management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through routine housekeeping.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed
