Job summary

42NDC, rooted in Boston with Gentle Dental Chelmsford, seeks a Dental Assistant to support dentists, manage patient flow, and ensure a positive patient experience. You will assist chairside, process radiographs, and maintain infection control to uphold quality care.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of dental procedures, a CDA is preferred, and state certifications as required. We offer benefits including health, vision, 401K, and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• C.D.A. preferred.
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state.
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education.
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the practice needs.
