Job summary

Boston Baby Nurses LLC seeks a full-time, long-term live-out nanny for a 2-year-old in a Brookline family. Start ASAP; schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, 40 hours with occasional weekends; must be engaging, flexible, and comfortable with a parent present.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of professional childcare, CPR/First Aid certification, a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; must be non-smoker, able to travel domestically and internationally, and enjoy a hands-on parenting

Qualifications

At least 21 years old.
5+ years of professional childcare experience (toddler/preschool experience preferred).
CPR / First Aid certified.
Non-smoker.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Reliable personal vehicle (parking available).
Comfortable with dogs.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care.
Engage in play, learning activities, and outdoor time.
Drive the child to classes and/or preschool (2 mornings per week).
Support routines and foster independence appropriate for a toddler.
Maintain a clean and organized environment for the child, including: Tidying play areas, Children’s laundry, Meal preparation for the child.
Take initiative with helpful tasks around the home when appropriate, especially when parents are present.
Collaborate with parents while respecting a hands-on parenting style.
