Ed Oliver Golf Club in Wilmington, DE is seeking a part-time Pro-Shop Attendant who is driven to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property. As part of Troon, you will support golf professionals, assist with check-ins, merchandise reception, and shop displays while delivering the level of service guests expect.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong English communication, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Golf shop experience or interest is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with checking in golfers and pace of play.
  • Maintain tee sheet and organize stockroom; assist with shop displays.
  • Receive merchandise and follow purchase order procedures.
  • Price merchandise and help maintain inventory levels.
  • Provide high-quality service and go the extra mile for guests.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Head Professional.

Ed Oliver Golf Club, located in Wilmington, DE, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Pro-Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continually monitors, implements, and adheres to all company goals, policies, procedures, and controls
  • Assists golf professionals with checking in golfers and maintains a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play
  • Assists with receiving merchandise and adheres to purchase order procedures
  • Assists with the rotation of shop displays
  • Maintains an organized stockroom and assists the buyer and other shop assistants with stock and golf shop cleanliness
  • Assists with pricing of merchandise
  • Assists with maintaining proper inventory counts and levels
  • Performs other duties as requested by the Head Professional
  • Provides service in any and every way, and goes the extra mile to provide the standard of service guests expect

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds to waist height

Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping

Exposure to hot and cold temperatures

Must be able to stand for extended periods

Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner

Normal vision and hearing required
