Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to assist with inventory management and upselling. You will engage customers, promote current sales, and help maintain store appearance and stock levels.

The role requires safe driving, clear communication, and the ability to learn new products and sales techniques. Evening/weekend shifts may be required in this retail environment.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for transactions and inventory counts.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase AOV.
• Maintain store cleanliness, stocking, and back stock.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory and new arrivals to assist sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
