Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery associate in Hicksville, NY to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers and handle returns. You will promote sales and loyalty programs, manage daily credit accounts, and build strong customer relationships while maintaining store cleanliness and stock integrity.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong English communication. Weekend availability and some cross-selling expectations apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock including back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to identify needs and recommend parts or services.
