Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers in the New York area. The role includes promoting sales, collecting credit payments, and upselling products to increase transaction value.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to learn inventory systems while maintaining a clean, organized store environment. Flexible days/evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organizing stock.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts/services.
