Job summary

Pro Mechanical USA, LLC is seeking a Foreman in Port Lavaca, TX to supervise craft crews, coordinate daily activities and ensure on-time project delivery with an emphasis on safety and budget adherence.

You will read plans and isometrics, mentor workers, and maintain professional relations with owners and inspectors while driving production efficiency and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of craft workers and prioritize work.
• Organize, lead, and train crews to complete projects on time and under budget.
• Read and follow plans, material lists, and timelines; implement production improvements.
• Develop schedules and allocate time to adhere to the schedule; identify potential change orders.
• Communicate delays and emergencies to the Superintendent and PM; assist with budget adherence.
• Conduct site orientations; train and mentor new workers; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Provide weekly safety meetings and report time, progress, and material usage.
• Maintain professional relations with owners, inspectors, and company personnel.
• Proficient in reading isometric drawings; motivate workers and communicate effectively.

Other duties may be assigned.*** Supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.* Supervise and coordinate daily activities of craft workers and prioritizes work.* Organizes, supervises, leads and trains crew members to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames, on time and under budget.* Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines. Implement better methods of production in all aspects of your job.* Assist in schedule development and effectively budget time to adhere to schedule. Identifying potential change orders.* Efficiently communicates with the Superintendent any delays, and/or emergencies at the job site; works with PM to resolve issues to comply with budget and schedule. Conduct jobsite orientation and train and mentor new workers.* Instruct and train employees and ensure the safety of the workers.* Properly follows all state and federal agencies safety procedures; brings problems to the attention of the project manager, safety director or HR manager.* Promotes and complies with all company safety policies and procedures, including crewmember discipline and documentation.* Enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures. Conduct weekly safety meetings.* Daily reporting of time, progress and materials; significant project facts, events, and conditions must be reported.
