About Pro Deo's After School Program

Our program creates a safe, nurturing environment for teens, offering guidance, mentorship, and educational and recreational activities. The role aims to empower teens, promote personal development, and foster positive relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the Program Team Lead with afterschool, summer, and Friday night programs for students and teens.
• Demonstrate, instruct, lead, and facilitate all aspects of planned and spontaneous activities with teens enrolled in the program. Assist in developing, promoting, and implementing program activities.
• Maintain a safe environment for students, providing care, supervision, oversight, and accountability.
• Build and maintain healthy relationships with students to promote retention.
• Monitor and track students’ progress through documentation and weekly updates, communicating positively with parents about activities and participation.
• Collaborate with staff to address program aspects.
• Transport students from school to Pro Deo using a 15-passenger van.

Position Requirements

• Availability to work 20 hours/week, Monday-Thursday (2-6 pm), and Friday (5-9 pm).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Intermediate skills in typing, Microsoft Word, Excel, and GSuite.
