Job summary

Children’s Law Center in Washington, DC is seeking a Pro Bono Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Pro Bono Program under the direction of the Pro Bono Director.

This attorney position manages pro bono case placement, volunteer attorney engagement, training and mentoring systems, data management, and program administration to support high-quality representation for children and families across CLC’s programs.

Qualifications

• JD and DC Bar membership or immediate eligibility.
• Minimum of five years of legal experience as an attorney.
• Experience managing legal or program operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day pro bono operations and case placement.
• Coordinate volunteer attorney engagement, mentoring, and training.
• Monitor program performance and implement improvements.
• Manage data collection and reporting for the program.
• Recruit, onboard, and support volunteers.
• Build relationships with volunteers, law firms, corporations and other partners.
• Represent CLC at trainings and events.
