Job summary

Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) seeks a Pro Bono Unit Staff Paralegal to join the Columbus Regional Office. This role focuses on recruiting and placing cases with volunteer lawyers, supporting local case management, intake and screening, and coordinating with the statewide Pro Bono Unit to ensure consistent client services.

The candidate should have a college degree or paralegal certificate, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to speak Spanish.

Qualifications

• College graduate or Paralegal Certificate required.
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
• Pro bono experience and nonprofit sector exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and place pro bono cases with volunteer lawyers.
• Engage in local case management and intake screening.
• Represent clients in administrative law matters as needed.
• Collaborate with state-wide Pro Bono Unit for consistency of services.
• Build partnerships with local bar associations and law schools.
