Job summary

Proskauer in New York invites applications for a Pro Bono Department intern to support day-to-day operations and administrative projects. This role requires a 10-hour-per-week commitment and is based in our Times Square office, Monday through Thursday; scheduling will align with the intern's courses and firm needs.

The position offers exposure to nonprofit outreach, marketing content creation, and cross-functional collaboration with IT and Finance as part of the Pro Bono team, ideal for students

Qualifications

• Evidence of commitment to public service.
• Internship or volunteer experience with charitable or nonprofit organizations is a plus.
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision after instruction.
• High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pro Bono Department in developing pro bono marketing content for Firm’s website and blog.
• Work with Pro Bono Department and Information Technology team to update and enhance the pro bono training materials and opportunity listings on the Firm’s intranet.
• Work with Pro Bono Department and Finance team to respond to pro bono audits and surveys.

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis. The anticipated compensation for this position is $17.50 per hour. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, yearsof relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
