Job summary

Legal Services Corporation is offering a Pro Bono Grant Management Intern position for Fall 2026 in Washington, DC. The internship is part-time, non-exempt, hybrid, and requires DC-Metro area residence for the duration. September–December 2026, up to 20 hours per week.

The intern will assist with PBIF grant administration, reporting, program evaluation, and materials development while gaining hands-on experience in grant data tracking and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

  • Organized and attentive to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong in research, data analysis, written and verbal communication.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Interest or background in law, public policy, nonprofit management, program evaluation, grants administration or related fields preferred.
  • Bonus: Experience with Smartsheet, data visualization, data management, or grant management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support PBIF grant administration and reporting activities, including preparing materials and tracking deadlines.
  • Assist with grantee communications and progress report preparation; review reports and materials.
  • Conduct research and analysis related to PBIF grants and program evaluation.
  • Support data collection and analysis for external evaluators.
  • Develop curriculum, workshops, presentations, and visualization tools for PBIF initiatives.
  • Plan and prepare PBIF meetings, trainings, and events; assist with logistics.
