Job summary

The Partnership for Public Service in Washington, DC offers a DC-based hybrid internship through the Public Service Leadership Institute (PSLI). Interns will support leadership development, business development or AI policy work in a government-focused setting.

This paid internship provides hands-on experience with government programs, event planning, outreach and content creation, with on-site work about two days per week and flexible hours to accommodate academic schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective time management and attention to detail.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Canva, content creation or project management tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering leadership development, business development or AI policy programs.
• Help with event agendas, timelines and speaker preparation; draft event recaps and social media content.
• Support the rollout of eLearning courses via the LMS and contribute to marketing and outreach efforts (LinkedIn).
• Gain exposure to business development activities supporting PSLI and related programs.
