Job summary

Mercor is seeking an experienced Pro Bono Counsel to evaluate AI-generated legal analyses involving civil legal services and access-to-justice issues. The role focuses on reviewing housing, family, consumer, foreclosure, and debt scenarios and delivering structured feedback to improve AI quality.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, is admitted to the U.S. bar, and has a strong civil practice background along with proven pro bono leadership or participation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a JD and be admitted to the U.S. bar.
• Experience evaluating AI-generated legal analyses is a plus.
• Strong background in civil law and excellent writing/analytical skills.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as Pro Bono Counsel or Pro Bono Partner.
• Experience coordinating legal clinics or volunteer attorneys.
• Expertise across multiple civil legal practice areas.
• Experience with legal technology or AI.
