Floor & Decor in Lowell, AR is seeking a Training Specialist for Product Sales that enhances customer experiences through product knowledge and skilled service. The role involves guiding product specialists, maintaining accurate merchandising, and delivering informative demonstrations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide helpful, courteous assistance.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Demonstrate store philosophy and basic P’s of retail (People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing).
• Direct and assist merchandise processing to showroom floor and maintain pricing/placement.
• Present how-to classes to customers and stock displays.
• Operate POS system for checkout, refunds, and exchanges following guidelines.
• Ensure proper inventory communication to management.
• Complete product specialist certifications and maintain merchandising standards.

PurposeThis position is responsible for training and developing Product Sales Specialists and ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience by receiving exceptional customer service and product information.Minimum Eligibility RequirementsHigh Scholl Diploma or GED1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the companyExcellent communication skills (verbal & written)Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentEssential FunctionsAct and work in a manner that is consistent with company’s core valuesDemonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the company’s safe lifting practices standard operating proceduresDemonstrate the ability to drive and teach the company philosophy around the basic P’s of retail.
