Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner to join multiple clinics around Wake Forest, NC. The role offers flexible, fast-paced work across urgent care, primary care, and telemedicine with a focus on patient flow and high-volume settings.

You will provide care for all ages, perform minor procedures, interpret EKGs, review X-rays, and collaborate with Radiology and other teams. Competitive hourly pay with bonus incentives, CME allowance, mileage reimbursement, and paid

Qualifications

• FNP board certification required
• MSN or higher required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a high-volume environment, and is flexible working with different teams and clinics. New grads are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Schedule:

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.
