Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have wound care experience and national accreditation/certification by WCNCB.
• Licensed as APRN/PA with applicable state board.
• MSN or higher degree required for APRN hires.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform physical exams; develop diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging as needed; collaborate with care team.
• Prescribe and monitor medications within licensure and policy.
• Educate patients on disease, treatments and potential side effects.
• Participate in rounds; ensure quality patient care with multi-disciplinary team.
• Facilitate referrals to specialists and discharge planning.
