Job summary

Avera St. Mary's Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with adherence to established standards. The role requires visual acuity and effective communication to support patient care and image quality.

Weekend on-call coverage is required (Friday 4PM - Monday 6AM). The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree, ARDMS certification, and be able to function as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• ARDMS certification or equivalent registration.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and efficient clinical ultrasound images as directed by providers and radiologists.
• Review indications for tests and contact providers for more information when needed.
• Maintain department policies, safety, and infection control practices.
