Job summary

Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH is seeking a Vascular Sonographer (PRN) to join our imaging team. You will perform non-invasive ultrasound procedures, identify normal and abnormal tissues, and adjust techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveforms, including measurements per lab protocol.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Nursing program, registered vascular sonographers, and BLS certification within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Nursing Program.
• Registered Vascular Sonographer.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive ultrasound procedures and recognize sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures, and blood flow.
• Adjust scanning techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveform.
• Perform measurements and calculations according to laboratory protocol.

Education
