Job summary

Us Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our team at Pima Heart and Vascular. The role involves perioperative support, patient education, and EMR documentation across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases.

Requirements include BLS and ACLS certification and an active Arizona nursing license. At least 3 years of nursing experience is expected; cath lab/vascular experience is preferred but not required. Ambulatory surgery center exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Current AZ nursing license.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience.
• Cath lab/vascular/EP device experience preferred but not required.
• Outpatient/ambulatory surgery center experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and relay pertinent information to the surgical team.
• Educate patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist with equipment, supplies, and intraoperative documentation.
• Document procedures in the EMR system.
• Monitor patients post-procedure and manage pain and vitals.
