Job summary

US Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join the Pima Heart and Vascular team. You will review records, support the surgical team, and ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures.

The role focuses on education, intra-procedural support, post-procedure monitoring, and coordination of clinical trials and follow-up care. PRN hours offer flexibility while providing comprehensive vascular care in a busy ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of Arizona.
• Experience in Cath lab/Vascular/EP device preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience is required.
• Leadership experience such as charge Nurse preferred but not required.
• 1 year of outpatient/ambulatory surgery center experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and relay information to the surgical team.
• Educate patients and families about pre-, intra-, and post-procedure flow.
• Assist with equipment and documentation during procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and manage pain and nausea.
• Coordinate clinical trials and follow-up appointments.
