Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN seeks a fellowship-trained Vascular Neurologist for PRN coverage in a world-renowned stroke program. The role emphasizes high-volume stroke care and collaboration with neuroimaging, neurosurgery, and interventional teams.

The candidate must be board-eligible or board-certified in Neurology with a Vascular Neurology fellowship and license ability in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board-eligible or Board-certified in Neurology.
• Completed a Vascular Neurology fellowship program.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with vascular neurological conditions in a high-volume practice.
• Providing expert clinical care within a renowned stroke neurology team.
• Collaborating with neuroimaging, neurocritical care, neurointervention, and neurosurgery colleagues.
• Leading or participating in acute stroke research, including trials and translational work.
• Managing inpatient stroke patient care on a varied shift schedule.
• Utilizing shared services between acute stroke and general neurology with emphasis on stroke prevention.
• Engaging in academic activities and contributing to teaching or research with institutional affiliation.
• Fostering clinical and research collaborations nationally through CommonSpirit Health.
