Qualifications

• Graduates of a school of medical assisting (MA/CMA/RMA)
• EMTs with WI license
• Paramedics with WI license
• LPNs with WI license
• In office procedure assistance
• Injection and vaccine administration
• General clinical administrative tasks in EMR (Epic)

Responsibilities

• Assists with treatments ordered by provider and supervised by RN or physician
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records data
• Performs basic clerical duties: calls, scheduling, records
• Manages supplies and maintains clean, orderly environment
• Documents encounters, orders labs/radiology/medications as indicated
• Maintains alertness and safety in practice
• Performs other duties as assigned
