Primary Care Associates of Appleton is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to provide imaging services to patients. The role involves operating ultrasound equipment, preparing patients, and coordinating with radiology staff to ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis.

The candidate should hold an AA or equivalent, ARDMS and CPR certification, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a PRN, on-site position in the Radiology department.

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or related training.
• ARDMS and CPR certification required.
• Echocardiogram desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receives ultrasound orders, checks for correct diagnosis and special instructions.
• Greets patients and confirms identification.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and positions patient to capture images.
• Explains examination procedure to patient and family when needed.
• Verifies patient demographic data entry.
