Advocate Health is seeking a Part-time ultrasound technologist in Kannapolis to support our Ultrasound department on a PRN as needed basis, including holiday rotations. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient care, and collaboration with radiologists and staff.

The ideal candidate is ARDMS/ARRT(S) certified, BLS trained, and graduates from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program. Prior hospital experience is preferred, with strong attention to safety and accuracy.

Formación

• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development applicable to patient populations.
• Graduate from a comprehensive ultrasound program; DGUS or general ultrasound training.
• Maintains familiarity with radiology software and imaging protocols.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in performing invasive procedures.
• Evaluates technical quality of exam and develops superior technique.
• Supports patient-centered care philosophy and collaborates with staff.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisors or engineers.
• Operates Radiology computer system including entering exams and supplies.
• Keeps work area neat and stocked; adheres to department rules.
